So the cat's out of the bag! (or should we say the tiger?)
We will be running weekly Tai Chi classes at the British Museum starting in October. These are the first classes of their kind at the museum so we hope you can come along and be a part of history in the making. Click on the image below for more details or to book your place today. Guess what? We're collaborating with a major London museum to provide an introductory course in Tai Chi for Beginners this October 2019. Which museum you ask? Our lips are sealed while details are being fine-tuned but join our mailing list if you'd like full details once the programme is confirmed! You can join our mailing list from the home page of our website or by sending a quick email to [email protected] The plan for a soothing meditative session flew swiftly out the door as soon as we encountered the super loud sound systems and high intensity events nearby...
In the end we drowned out the other sound systems with some beautiful Chinese music to create a more conducive atmosphere for flowing repetitions of various movements (when in Rome!) and for a few moments it was as if the outside world vanished as the deeply satisfying effects of Tai Chi movements took hold. Overall it was a fantastically refreshing day and a great start to a season of outdoor wellbeing events. Get in touch to book your outdoor wellbeing event for this spring and summer season! [email protected] We're excited to announce that starting May 2019 we'll be launching affordable Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes in collaboration with CORE Clapton, a charity which offers affordable osteopathy and wellbeing classes in a beautifully restored Edwardian hall near Clapton station in Hackney. These drop-in classes will be suitable for complete beginners and can be booked through CORE's website, calling ahead to book your place or by arriving 10 minutes before the start of the class. For more details visit CORE's website: www.coreclapton.org We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming classes! We are happy to announce that starting May 2019 we'll begin running lunchtime meditation sessions on Thursdays, 12.30-1.30pm, in YMCA Club, central London's largest health and fitness centre, conveniently located a few minutes walk from Tottenham Court Road station. These will be drop-in classes and are suitable for complete beginners, focusing on relaxing the body, calming and de-stressing the mind, and developing focus, calmness and concentration.
